What is the best sports bra for under a tank top?

droh79 asked:

I wear tank tops all the time in the spring and summer and I’m looking for a very thin, cotton, seamless sports bra to wear underneath so that I don’t need to wear a regular bra with bra straps showing. Any recommendations?

    You know sports bra straps are bigger than regular bras if you wear a sports bra that is heavy duty. Now I don’t know your size, so you may wear the sports bras that have very thin straps, which work perfectly in what you want. But the best kind would probably a sports bra that had those, I don’t know which brand that is though. Look for a sports bra that is like a regular bra in straps except skinnier and then looks like a regular sports bra.

    Something like this::

    That’s a good bra, you may not want it that long though… but it gives you a general idea. Also, make sure that it is comfortable too. I don’t know if you plan on running around in these sports bra too but make sure it supports you there too before you buy it.

    I have tons of options for you, to fit every size from A to DD. You so don’t want to be running and fussing with a reg bra-strap when you could keep your ta-tas high and dry in a killer hot, high-performance sports bra.

    So in April, Women’s Health magazine editors set out to run, do yoga, weight lift, and kick box through three dozen top sports bra brands including Patagonia, Isis, Freemotion, Saucony, and Asics. They picked the top 18 for their readers in an article called ” Bust a Move,” so the only thing you’d have to worry about when exercising is whether you want to add another superset to your morning routine.

    What’s awesome about Bust a Move: Some picks are seamless, some have perfectly cushioned underwires, and others are tanks with a built-in supersupportive, high-performance sports bra! See those and every other performance-specific fit at

    Here are a few of the top seamless picks:
    Patagonia Active Mesh bra ($35, patagonia.com)
    Bestform High Impact Double Santoni crop bra ($15, bestformintimates.com)
    Asics Renah seamless bra ($38, asics.com)
    Anita Molded sports bra ($59, herroom.com)

    Some tankini choices include New Balance camisole bra top, the FreeMotion Fitness Sport tank, and the Champion Powerlite Empire Tech tank.

    Happy hitting the pavement.
